Pond Maintenance Programs
Aqua Gardens offers services to both commercial and residential clients in the South Atlanta Metro areas. We offer monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, and one time cleanings. Every pond is different, and their maintenance requirements as well. Some ponds can go with cleaning for a few months; others need it every month. Whichever is the case for your water feature, you can trust our experienced team to take care of it properly. We test water pH Balance, nitrates, ammonia, acidity levels, and will treat the water accordingly and treat plants for overgrowth.
Clean Outs
One-Time Cleaning Include
Full annual cleanout in springtime, we take the fish out, house them in a system to keep them alive while we clean out the pond. Then we pump out all water and thoroughly clean out all the stones and rocks. We make sure the filter systems are running right. Then we refill the pond, treat the water, and then introduce the fish back into the new water.
Monthly and Quarterly Cleanings Include
These types of cleanings keep the ponds looking pretty and clean all year long. With the fish left untouched, we drain the pond 1/3 of its water out. Then we brush off the muck from rocks, and any build-up is removed. We clean the filters, filtration system, and before filling up, we treat the water and cycle out the dirty water.
Pond Repairs
If you suspect a leak in your pond, or maybe the stones have cut the liner, Aqua Gardens can help. We offer leak repairs, pump repairs and replacements, skimmer box repairs, and waterfall filtration box repairs. Lighting fixtures are placed in the ground or close to the ground and point upwards to create a dramatic effect. It helps to accentuate details in plants and structures.

To create a strong focal point, we position the lighting in front of your water feature.

Handing or mounting lighting systems above the water features helps to achieve a natural look similar to sunlight.
- Back Lighting
When lighting is placed behind a fixture, it can produce a powerful effect with intense results by revealing strong shapes and forms.
Aquatic Plants
Aquatic plants in your pond have a great benefit. The plants in the water increase the oxygen levels and aerate the pond for the fish. They also provide shade for the Koi and can be used as a hiding place as some fish are introduced to their new environment.
